Sizing & fit

What size are ShowerTown curtains?

All of our shower curtains are 71" wide by 74" high (180 × 188 cm)—the standard shower curtain size. They fit every standard tub-and-shower combo and the vast majority of walk-in showers.

How many curtain hooks do I need?

Twelve. Every ShowerTown curtain has twelve reinforced buttonhole openings along the top that fit standard shower curtain hooks and rings. Hooks are not included with your curtain.

Should I use a liner?

Yes—we recommend using a liner for maximum protection. Our polyester fabric is naturally water-resistant, but a standard clear or white plastic or PEVA liner behind the curtain provides full waterproofing, keeps the decorative face clean, and extends the life of your curtain considerably.

Material & care

What are your curtains made of?

Premium 100% polyester with a soft, matte woven finish. The fabric is naturally water-resistant, hangs with natural weight and drape, holds color beautifully, and feels substantially more refined than the thin polyester you'll find in mass-market curtains.

Is the design printed on both sides?

No. The design is sublimation printed on one side of the curtain (the side that faces out into your bathroom). The reverse side is white.

How do I wash my shower curtain?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. If used with a liner as recommended, most curtains only need washing every few months.

Will the design fade?

No. Our curtains use a sublimation printing process that bonds the ink directly into the fabric fibers, so the design won't crack, peel, or fade over time.

Is there any smell when the curtain arrives?

You may notice a faint scent from the printing process when you first unpackage your curtain. It dissipates within a day or two of hanging, or after a gentle wash.

How do I get wrinkles out?

Hang the curtain and let gravity do most of the work—wrinkles typically relax within 24 to 48 hours. For stubborn creases, steam on a low setting or tumble dry on low with a damp cloth for a few minutes before hanging. Do not iron.

Design & color

Will the colors match exactly what I see on screen?

We work hard to represent our designs accurately, but every monitor and phone screen displays color slightly differently. Expect very close to what you see, with minor variation possible.

Are your designs original?

Most ShowerTown curtains feature an original design created by our team. We don't resell stock patterns. Some curtains feature reprints of vintage art in the public domain, and are labeled accordingly.

Shipping

When will my order arrive?

Every ShowerTown curtain is made to order. Customers in the United States and Germany can expect delivery within two weeks of placing their order. Delivery to all other countries takes up to five weeks.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide.

How do I track my order?

You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your curtain ships. Tracking updates can take 24 to 48 hours to appear in the carrier's system after you receive the notification.

My tracking hasn't updated in a few days—should I worry?

Usually not. Tracking scans can be inconsistent, especially during transit between facilities and at international borders. If a full week passes with no movement, the carrier's customer service line is the fastest way to get a status update.

Returns & exchanges

What's your return policy?

Because each curtain is made to order specifically for you, we handle returns on a case-by-case basis. If your curtain arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, reply directly to your order confirmation email with a photo of the issue and we'll make it right.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Orders enter production shortly after they're placed, so we're generally unable to cancel or modify an order more than one hour after it's been submitted. Please double-check your selection before checking out.

Will I get an order confirmation?

Yes. A confirmation email is sent automatically as soon as your order is placed. If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder.
